jeff_nw. It was a costume party honoring the great bull, but I don't think any of us were wearing any. Costumes that is, not bull.
Had walked him to the ferry to Silverdale (which doesn't exist) so he could go on an evening-all day hike. As we were walking to the ferry, he was explaining that Saturday was the party. Then by the time we walked there, it was the party.
Everything was lit by fiery torches and lighting them were Hawaiian women in leis and grass skirts and bikini tops. Suddenly this woman started screaming for her daughter on the pier. I was going to approach her, but Jeff beat me to it as we all surrounded him and watched his amazing bedside manner. He calmed her down, then laid an ironing board on her and asked me to iron her down. I did this, because I mean, that's exactly what you do for someone having a seizure. I thought to myself what a wonderful doctor he would make. He has such a calming, caring nature to him.
He asked me to take her vitals, but proceeded to do it anyway. He said her pulse was thundering away. I checked, too. She was definitely in the full bloom of adrenaline. Jeff said it was because her cowboy costume (which we couldn't see on her) had been incorporated into her spirit. I wasn't sure how we could get her out of it, because we couldn't see it. She looked like Spencer's mother, Cassandra, from The X-files. That woman's always getting herself into possessed shit.
This is why I never need to abuse prescription medication. All I need to do is take a brief afternoon nap.
