Michael Moore will enter his film Fahrenheit 9/11 for best picture, not best documentary in this year's Oscar race.

Huh. That seems, well, stupid. I thought the movie was interesting and thought provoking, if a bit heavy handed. I think Moore's become almost a caricature, and does himself a disservice by being so inflammatory to the people he should be trying to reach the most. Preaching to die hard liberals such as myself isn't as important as reaching the people who are still on the fence and could be otherwise persuaded to see the horrors of the Bush Administration.
Anyhow. It's like he decided he didn't want an Oscar. Because I can't see him winning Best Picture.
