It is positively orgasmic that I don't have to go to work today. Company gave us Monday off instead of Friday and if my ankle didn't look like it was encased in a grapefruit, I would dance a jig.

I have to leave for Bellevue by 1:15. Should I go get my haircut before? Because afterwards I'm always a little self-conscious. I did make an appt at Lenscrafters for an eye exam and will hopefully find new frames that I like. Hoping Sarah will be able to come with. Sarah's coming, too! And she has excellent taste. Note to self: pick out frames BEFORE they dilate your eyes. This is going to sound demented, but I mainly want to get my haircut first because I want to see how my new hair will look with the new glasses. What if I pick out glasses that look better with long hair? I'm planning on getting the most bang for my buck and chop off the hair to shoulder length.

I realize I'm being very girly about this. But how I feel about my looks revolves 98% around my hair. It's a little weird.

Jeff, Judy, KC, and I are all restarting WW with a vigor today. New year and all. Putting behind us the sins of the holiday seasons. I was to start a vigorous exercise regime today, and I'm really still pissed about my ankle. The whole point of going out to Greenlake was to get a headstart on the exercise-y-ness. So I think that I am not going to let this stop me. I may go swimming tonight. That won't put a lot of stress on my ankle, and it'll be working out so I won't feel thwarted. I also have some very low impact workout tapes at home I could do this week. I really hope I'm better by Thursday so I can do Amanda's class. I think it's unrealistic to think I can do her Tuesday class, though. Wah.

I'm excited though, because I think I know how I want to get my haircut. Not too short, but hitting the shoulder, and in layers. The shortest layer hitting mid-cheek. Woo! I've decided (just now) that I can pick out the glasses and have the haircut match THEM.

Very excited that I only have two more days at this job, as pleasant an experience as it's been--especially because I got to work with Saaaaaarah again. That seriously ruled. But man is this going to be a short week! Day off today. Two days of work and a super-long weekend before starting the new job.

And this is going to be a fun week!

Wednesday: last day at work. Then Lost/Alias night at Judy's. That should be fun. Obnoxious tv shows are always more fun in a noisy group.

Thursday: Day of Judy. We're going to shop for work-clothes for me out at Auburn Super Mall. Head to Northgate for some of her errands, go to Amanda's and then dinner at Palermo's where we will probably have to split something because I bet it's very point-y.

Friday: scrambling to organize my life entirely, run last minute errands, etc.

Also, sometime next weekend is the holiday party for my last company. That should be a lot of fun and I think it's so nice I'm included!
