FINALLY. David gets his due. Even if it only turns out to be temporary.
Strangers in Paradise issue #70 finally came out today after weeks and weeks of frustrating delay.
It was wonderful. Two main plot lines.
1. Katchoo and David go to Las Vegas and end up married. When Kat wakes up in a shock, she doesn't throw David out the window, but seems really excited--if startled. David was adorable and hilarious and omfg I was so happy to see him get a chance to finally be happy. He deserved it so much after all the shit and abuse he'd put up with for soooooooooo long. It was indescribably satisfying to see him so happy.
2. Subplot with Casey, Rusty and the Mystery Spooger. That was revolting, but interesting. I love Casey and her plots are always fun.
Curious to see what Francie is up to now. Hate waiting for the next issue. But this one was worth the wait and a lot of fun.
