Good day at work. Then watched the food network, which was having some lamb-a-palooza thing going on. So by the end of it, I was dying for a gyro. devinluvsrussia called post work and we agreed to meet at Greenlake, and I offered to pick up some gyros for us.

Amy is coming to town! Like in five minutes! She'll be here for a week starting Monday.

I'm really looking forward to this. The last time Amy came up it was for a quick weekend and I had to share her with Martin. I'm looking forward to having my college roommate back!

I'll have to work, but she's a grade-school teacher with the summer off, so she's going to chill here with her lesson plans for the year. It's always fun to show people around Seattle. Gives me the excuse to revisit my favorite places.

We get along damn well, which is how we survived 5 years together. Despite the fact that Amy wakes up at 5am and goes to bed at 9pm and I wake up at 10am and go to bed at 2am. It somehow works out beautifully. Must compile list of fun things to do with her.
