So this is where it's a little dangerous.

I've gotten up on time (despite wanting to burrow under my comforter forever in this NW chill). Showered. Fed my Lord and Master. Gotten dressed. Found bus fare (Must. Buy. A. Fucking. PASS. Already.) Packed my satchel with glasses, wallet, cell phone, and book. And it's only 7:10. I have 10 whole minutes before going outside for the bus.

I've responded to all the morning emails. Except for one written by [livejournal.com profile] jeff_nw that was so beautiful and heart warming and supportive, that I need to savor it for awhile before responding. (God, I love that man.)

So I'm screwing around on LJ. Which means I'll get distracted and then see the bus roll past my window and start the day off with some morning tourettes.

I managed to leave my snuggly warm polar fleece in LA (fuckfuckfuckityfuck) but unearthed my pea coat from storage so I'm not continuously freezing outside. The dungeon where I work has a more tropical climate, so after approximately 4 minutes of being inside, I'm hurling off everything but the near-bottom layer.

They've adjusted it a bit, so it's not so bad now. One of the earlier days it was so hot, that I left with the waistband of my jeans soaked in sweat. It was revolting.

It's kind of cute. Hobbes doesn't understand why I'm at my desk still. He's all, "Don't you normally go away by now?"

Awww, he just curled up against me like he always used to. Making sure my nice work sweater is covered in orange fur. Isn't that thoughtful?

Shitshit. Must go now!

sheesh

You know what's sad?

When I think it's probably around 10 o'clock and I look up to find that's not even 7:30.

I'm almost ready for bed.

In other news, watching the last couple of discs of Alias Season Two and finding it surprisingly riveting. It's all about the guest appearances, I think. So I hated the ones with Quentin "Ass Clown" Tarantino. But even though I usually can't stand Ethan Hawke, I loved the episodes with him. And god, Christian Slater has aged and he's aged...unattractively. Poor thing.

I'm finding the twists pretty unbelievable, but not giving a shit. Because it's pretty fascinating to see what they'll do next that isn't believable.

Also, I find Sark disturbingly ....hot. I mean, I hate him. But I wouldn't kick him out of bed.
