ahhh motherland!
Dec. 31st, 2004 07:21 amIt's New Year's Eve!
I'm hyper already. Well, I'm hyper and tired, since I went to bed too late last night.
Ran some errands last night. Got the groceries (or most of them at least) and learned that in Washington you have to buy liquor at a state run liquor store (not just at the grocery store, dammit). Bought everything. Learned that no one bought John a copy of RotK (because everyone assumed someone else was going to buy it for him, or that he'd already have bought it himself) and poor John was sad. So after groceries, and dropping Sarah off at home, went over to Judy's and had an impromptu dinner thing with Jeanne.
Very girl's night with 7-layer dip and fajitas. Then John came home, but he's really just one of the girl's too because we love him so much and he's so cute. So we watched tv, and I left at 9 as I was the only one who has to work this morning. (To Judy's eternal glee. Wench.) Came home, hauled stuff upstairs and started tidying up a bit.
Same thing this morning, more quick tidying up so Jeanne isn't treated to the sight of my underwear all over the place. That's right, Jeanne's going to join Sarah and myself for some appetizers and drinks before seeing the new year in with her doggie. I can't blame her. I wouldn't want to be away from Hobbsie either when the ball drops. Gotta have someone to kiss, right?
Shit! Going to miss my bus! Bye!
