This is the funding for the emergency medical, shelter, and rescue teams of the Red Cross already deploying and staging on approach routes all across the South, ready to move in even while the storm is still moving out. The rescuers are almost all volunteers, but they need fuel for their vehicles, medical supplies for their kits, and all the thousand thousand consumables they need to do their mission. Giving the American Red Cross money is the fastest and easiest way to support their mission. --turnberryknkn
