...and on the 7th day she rested

...and did none of the errands on her list.

I didn't grocery shop for Thanksgiving.
I didn't clean my flat or clean my garbage-strewn car (I just shoved everything into the trunk)
I didn't make a master list of the types of cookies I'm making
I didn't buy materials for handmade Christmas cards
I didn't start buying the presents I know I want to get people

Three cheers for me!!

What did I do?

I did sleep in until noon and have intensely bizarre dreams
I did meander out to the couch to watch more Scrubs (which, ♥)
I did gather my knitting and meet Jeanne at Diva Espresso for a fabulous afternoon of knitting
I did finish my giant red scarf!
I did get coaxed into knitting with the microscopic size 7 needles (entirely Jeanne's fault!)
I did grab dinner with Jeanne at Gordito's and get a burrito the size of a Volvo
I did only eat 1/3 of said burrito
I did come home and continue to make efforts with laundry

I figure I can pick up groceries on Tuesday night. I will clean all night on Wednesday and start food prepping. And the holiday cookie list doesn't really need to be made until after Thanksgiving. So, I'm fine there, too.

Tomorrow I get to go with Emily to an advance-screening of Rent! I'm curious to see if we love it or hate it. I've been instructed to provide reviews for Judy, Jeanne, and Ellie who are big Rent fans.

And now, I'm going to sit down with the rest of my knitting and watch more Scrubs!
