But there was much Jeff-ness this weekend, so that was glorious.

I am almost done with BSG 2.5 --5 episodes left!

Saturday I talked with Didier, and then Jeff came over to hang out, we ran errands, and ended with dinner at U Village. It was really so damn good to just hang out with him again.

Sunday I spoke with Alain, and then headed for Pacific Place. I returned some stuff to Eddie Bauer (I don't understand why manufacturers can't get the damn color black right. It shouldn't be faded and dingy when it's new!)

I met up with Tony to discuss the last of the Buffy discs and also BSG, but we had to cut it short because I had to go meet Pete for Running with Scissors at the Meridian.

The movie was... um. Not sure how to describe it. I mean, I thought the acting was really great, but there's a scene with a cat that made me so angry that I never quite recovered from it, and never forgave any of the characters for it. And it was just a strange movie. I have to admit I don't have a lot of patience for the 'artistic' temperament. I am moody and melodramatic and passionate, too --but manners tend to keep that shit reined in. I don't think rampant self-indulgence is acceptable behavior, no matter how sensitive you may be. It's lame. Fucking get over yourself. So, there.

Anyhow. So while I can admire the direction and acting skills --I think it was a successful movie-- it wasn't something I'd say I enjoyed or would want to watch again.

Afterward, I dropped Pete off by his car and hightailed it to Jeff's. We made Christmas cards! It was so much fun! Jeff has a billion stamps and card-making paraphernalia and the evening had that craft-y, cosy feeling. Very Little House on the Prarie.

Our cards really mirrored us. Jeff's are very earthy and nature-like with leaves. Mine are cartoon-y with bold colors, and Brian (one of Jeff's good friends) made cards that were as hip as he is. I finally got to meet Brian's boyfriend Randy, who is absolutely adorable.

We walked down to the Alehouse to meet up with Chris and his tennis-buddies, post tournament (Chris won a trophy!). They were a really nice group of guys, and it was fun. Eventually, it was back to the card-shop and I got home late.

I'm in my weird anti-cooking phase again. I just can't think of any food that I want to make and eat. It's annoying, and I need to figure it out already. Just been too scatter-brained lately.

Also, have mad craving for Hamburger Helper because of the damn movie.
