Just touched base with two of the three other bridesmaids for Amy's wedding stuff. I've never met Lucy but in spite of my many doubts over these years, she does in fact exist. She's a lovely woman. I also called Maria, who I haven't seen since college. It was, well, exciting. We had so much fun planning these upcoming events for Amy. Everyone was bending over backwards to accommodate each other and to emphasize that what matters is that we really give Amy a fabulous shower/bachelorette party.

Hrm. I think I'm going to have to make an Amy filter so I can talk about all exciting details without giving anything away. Muhahaha!

Amy:

1. Wow, both Maria and Lucy clearly love you.
2. Both of them think you're as fantastic as I do.
3. Best phrase: "You know Amy, she keeps worrying that we're being inconvenienced--it's like, Amy! Honey, we WANT to go out of our way for you. It's OKAY!"

Maria and I are going to hookup soon and Lucy and I will be touching base by email. Your friends rock, girly.
