I love Fridays. All the exciting potential of the weekend ahead. Knowing I can sleep in tomorrow morning. Wheee!
Judy's college roommate, Diane, is in town with her husband Matthew for the weekend. I've met Diane a few times over the years and she is wonderful. I'm really looking forward to seeing her again, and her baby, Jane, too! So dinner with them tonight. Note to self: pick up present for Jane. [Edited to add: Just heard from Judy, Jane has an infection so their trip is cancelled, bummer!]
Ellie's birthday party tomorrow. I'm actually going to try to whip out a quillow in the morning/afternoon. She's admired Judy's a lot and I can't think of anything to get her. I didn't realize early enough that yesterday was Ellen's birthday. I caught on from the conversation and belatedly wished her a happy bday, but if I'd remembered in time, I would have brought a card/flowers to the gym. I'm taking her out to lunch today, so that'll be fun.
And um, must go to work now.
