So I went to get my 3rd diet pepsi of the day, and (relatedly) to pee. And then I was suddenly very grateful that my office has tampons/be-winged pads under the sink.

Moon, Gaia, blahblahblah. At least today can be explained. And somehow knowing that I can blame internal surges of hormones makes it much more bearable.

Also while in the bathroom, I yanked my shirt up and stretched the hateful bra. While it's not supercomfy, I'm not in side-cramping agony. I must say, it was very satisfying to hear the riii-iiii-iiip.

In perkier news--new SiP tomorrow (allegedly)! It'll be nice to see the conclusion of the Vegas three-parter. And I'm very excited to see the upcoming conclusion of the Molly & Poo trilogy.

Tomorrow after work I think I'm going to drive my now-rejected duvet covers back to BB&B and pick out something else. I ordered Rothko's Blue, Orange, Red (1961) and was thinking of hanging it in my bedroom. But I may stick that in the living room. I have a Kandinsky I've had forever that I like, but am officially tired of looking at (anyone wildly into Kandinksy, let me know). Anyhow, I think the Rothko will go nicely in the living room, so I still need new art for the bedroom.

I'm actually thinking of getting a pink cover for the duvet. Which, I know. But still. Pale pink is really pretty and comforting. It won't show Hobbsie-hair and my bed is so fluffy, it'd be nice. Also, pale blue or ...and I'm not sure where I'm getting this from, orange. I might get a cream colored duvet cover (which is what I had originally) and go wild with the sheets and pillows. It's a little scary how much thought/effort I've put into a fucking bed cover. Especially considering I've had the same one for the past 5 years and it had black streaks on it from the last move.

I also want to take a trip to In The Beginning to look at their gorgeous fabric selection and see if I find something I like so much I just want to make my own duvet cover. Or I could have a cream colored duvet, colorful sheets and a baby quilt thrown over the bed.

All of which is ridiculous because I make my bed very simply. I'm not sure why I'm suddenly fucking channeling Laura Ashley. Let's blame this on hormones. Maybe next I can burst into tears for no reason.

I don't normally get all hormonally-spazzy for my period, so this is relatively rare. Maybe it's because I'm so moody on a regular basis that shedding jellyfish matter doesn't phase my mental state. Who knows.

Also? Apparently very babbly. Good LORD.

Your post reminded me of the Sex and the City episode with Miranda buying all new sheets for her bed...something akin to her wanting to enjoy the bed even with nobody else in it....and you're thinking orange to match the cat! What better way to camouflage Hobbes hair?!?

You can always hang up the big Lichtenstein picture....it's one of my favorite pictures of yours ;)

I haven't seen that Sex and the City--but that's kind of how I feel :)

And yesh, orange would be the perfect blend.

As for the Lichtenstein: *bite* You big meanie.
