I know better than to caffeinate myself this late at night, but clearly am too stupid and weak willed to actually do the right thing.

Tomorrow is going to be an errand day. Bleh.

Things I have to do:

- Return cable box to cable company store as I have limited organs to sell to pay for Digital Cable now that their initial promotional thingie is over.

- Mail off book to the delightful man in Louisiana who bought my Concise Guide to Technical Writing. I can't believe it sold. And in like 3 days. Excuse me whilst I do the snoopy dance.

- Head to B&N to find copy of Technical Editing and read the three assigned chapters before Tuesday night. I hope I like TC402 as much as I liked 401. That was the best class ever.

God. I'm so behind on my crafty projects. Kiki's hat is never going to get started at this rate. Shitshit. I have to figure out something for my mom's birthday, too. Still need to quilt Christmas potholders for Ellie and Jeff. There's still heaps of time for Mishy's birthday scarf. But am so so so late on Amy's Christmas scarf. Stace's Christmas beaded coasters. Is that all? *thinks* Yes, I know it's beyond Christmas now. But it snuck up on me and then ran away and there was just no time to do anything. I also need to repair a few pairs of pants and something else torn up in my 'to fix' pile. And sometime before I die I'd rather like to start/finish the quilt for ME.

Argh argh. Ok. Will put in movie and knit tonight. *whip crack*

Did you sell it on amazon.com? I was always impressed how quickly books sold there, especially if you low balled everyone else. Once I had this Merck medical manual, the full sized, unabridged hard cover. My dad sent it to me and I ever even cracked the spine. I think it's the kind nursing students are required to buy for $90 or something. I was moving and didn't want to cart it home so I sold it for like $25 or something on amazon. It sold in a day or something. The person who bought it was a woman. I sort of felt good thinking I gave some nursing student who has to spend half her student loan on text books a sweet deal.

I sold it on half.com (http://www.half.com).

It was very exciting. I also bought a $45 book there for $12--though one was available for $4 but without the cd and a $71 book for $50--though one is available there for $30 but without mention of condition.

I wish I'd know about this last quarter!

I'd put my book up for sale at $10 lower than the recommended price and still thought the $50 was too high for a book listed as $61. I was really surprised when I got a buyer so fast. Makes me want to hunt around for other books I'll never read again.
