I know! I feel the same way. I mean, I watched professional wrestling for a while (I know, I know), and a large part of it was because of the Rock. He's my favorite, like, ever.

Anyhow, he utterly rules. I'd totally dismissed him until the first time I somehow caught an interview. Love him.

Seriously, his first appearance on Saturday Night Live was pure comic gold. His second, ehh, not so much, but he was a hastily-arranged substitute host. The first one was tailored to his personality, and extremely funny.

It was also awesome to see him live, as I've babbled before. He really knows how to work the crowd. And I wish I had a videotape of him interacting with this 8-year old boy who went up.

Is there nothing he's been in that is watchable? I feel like what he really needs to do is a short 3-episode, well-written stint on a wonderful show. Like, Scrubs, ala Brendon Frasier. And maybe another stint on The West Wing. (Not a coincidence I'm picking my faves, here.)

I missed Dolly Parton somehow, but the rest of the week is pretty damn funny.

I've liked John Spencer ever since I was watching L.A. Law as a 12-year-old. It's only in retrospect that I recognize how wrong that actually was. But he always impressed me as a good actor. It remains to be seen whether his DDT is as good as The Rock's, though.

He really is amazing - smart, charming, funny as hell, and OMGHOT.

Heck, I watched "The Mummy" and its assorted relatives (more than once!) just to see him....

I used to love LA Law, too, but I have to admit I don't remember John Spencer from it.

I saw The Rock live at the San Diego Comic Con. He was there with Karl Urban to promote Doom.

Okay, so I played the game a bit much (Doom III *drool*), but I do look forward to splurging a bit of cash to see him weilding said chainsaw & BFG. ^_~ High theater, no. Good rocklicking (and slightly bloody fun), yes!
