crazy crazy crazy
Dec. 2nd, 2005 04:57 pmEverything is crazy and busy and tightly scheduled and omg my head hurts.
But as much as I didn't pack last night, I will tonight. (I will!)
Friday
-pick up cookie ingredients
Saturday
- pick up comics from Arcane
-drop off sewing machine for repair at Ballard Sewing (do next week)
-take Hobbsie to vet by 11
-bake cookies with Sarah and Em
- Judy will come over for packing/dinner
Sunday
- bake carrot cake cheesecake for Rob/Kelly, refrigerate
- finish long-term packing (saving only things I need for next week)
- get to Rob/Kelly's by 3:30
I really can't wait to see Rob/Kelly. This the first time that I'll be seeing them since their trip to Europe! I can't wait to see the pictures and hear the stories. And Kelly's going to have some paint samples for me to look at and I believe answers to a myriad of inane painting questions from me!
Also, I just found, right this minute, balled up in the sleeve of my short-sleeved black tee-shirt, like a refugee shoulder pad from the 80s, my missing black sock. It's been there all day. Nice. Much better than having a pair of static-clung panties fall out of your pant leg.
The crazy schedule for painting is now... the night of Friday the 16th. It's the day everyone's most available and we're going to start as soon as I get the keys and everyone gets there after work, and we'll work late, continuing on Saturday morning if needed. We're skipping trim for now (because it's so time consuming) but at least the bulk of the work will be done! I think we have almost 7 people. Me, Sarah, Jeanne, Judy, John, Rob, Kelly. That's 7. Though, it's not 100% that John can come.) And we've all painted before (I believe), and Rob and Kelly are experts, so they will lead us well.

Date: 2005-12-03 07:05 am (UTC)I do love flowers--that sounds like a perfect idea! Wildflowers? For my dining room?

Date: 2005-12-03 07:26 am (UTC)Size? Can it be a little big? Like 24in x 36in? And color scheme is hard. I like wildflowers, because they're pretty and colorful, but on a relatively neutral background? My walls are going to be neutral, like taupe or sort of latte-colored, if that helps any. My kitchen cabinets are going to be dark red.
I trust your judgment--you got some mad skillz, girl.
