I think I've decided on a color scheme for the master bathroom. I think celery green walls and lipstick red accessories, with white wainscotting.
I keep changing my mind about things, so we'll see how long this phase lasts, but it has just the right retro touch and is fun and eyecatching and if it sucks, well, celery-green is easy to paint over! There's so little wall space, I don't know if the wainscotting will fly, and it will be a pain in the ass to do the little toilet nook, but it would really dress that spot up, too.
OH. Hello, as I can't stop thinking about my own place for five seconds. I finally saw Jeff and Chris's new place!! It's beyond gorgeous and I can totally picture those guys in it. I'm so excited for them to move in and for Jeff (a first-time home owner like me) to go through the excitement of every little new thing.
I also got to see the fabulous Craig and Greg again, I need to have those guys over as soon as my place is a bit more settled into; they are so utterly wonderful.
I stopped by Restoration Hardware, to exchange the switch plates, and ended up buying a shower curtain, more towels, and a wastebasket for the hall bathroom. Yay for their 20% off bath 'event.' Then I stopped by Crate & Barrel to buy dish towels, but they didn't have the ones I loved (though I picked up a couple of really pretty orange ones with this embroidered trim ($4!) and an orange pillow.
FUCK. I still forgot the cable switch plates from Restoration Hardware. I need to realize that I am utterly useless without lists. Argh! Oh well.
Now some food and then I simply must paint!
