verbicideHad a nice Halloween. Went over to Judy's for dinner with some of her work colleagues. We made um witch's eye deviled eggs. Judy's a bit liberal with the green food coloring on ANY given holiday (cf green meatloaf last St. Paddy's day), and her glee is hilarious.
Have dragged the tiny heater out of the closet, finally, but still have weird distribution of heat. For example, my right foot is nice and warm, but my right pinky (mind you, JUST the right pinky) is freezing cold. I don't understand. It's getting as much exposure as the rest of my hand.
Plan to go see Kill Bill today and shop for new quilt project materials. That's pretty exciting. After I make this quillow for Judy, I'm making something for myself, dammit. Ooo I want to knit a hat. Judy's little red hat came out adorable. But then I may spare myself the trouble and beg Judy to make me a hat and I can make one for my dad. It's getting cold, even in LA, and he's got pretty much no hair, so we've got to keep the top of his head toasty.
Hrm. I ought to go get dressed, then.
