Some days I'm glad you're so far away....there's already way too many people molesting me these days :P

Speaking of which..I realized the other day that it's YOUR turn to visit...we have La Pinata *singing*...

So, I'm flying out to LA tomorrow morning (my mom's first surgery didn't go great, so this is a second one--details on this later--so I'll have some time while waiting for my damn plane to take off, I can call you when I'm through security.) Conversely, I get back on Sunday night, and can call you from the airport then.

In short, that's why an Oakland trip is probably out for this year, between the trip last month to LA for Mo's graduation, this emergency trip, A's wedding in LA over Labor Day, my promise to visit Jeanne in SD sometime this year, Paris, the condo, my car, work --I'm just damn broke and out of weekends.

So that's the short version, let's talk more tomorrow? I'm so bummed we haven't talked in so long!
