must clean now
Aug. 27th, 2006 11:42 amThis weekend's been pretty fantastic so far. And unexpectedly, yesterday felt like Sunday, so having today actually be Sunday felt like a bonus. And how often does that happen?
Met Jeff and his parents at the U district market and bought lots of lovely veggies and fruits. Resisted urge to buy brioche. Afterward, hurried home to put away groceries and meet Pete at Pacific Place for Invincible. I can't believe I went to see a football movie, but the preview looked good--and we both loved the movie. I really loved how it was filmed and it was hard not to jump to my feet and cheer at times.
I'd decided to take the bus downtown because I'm trying to cut my frivolous spending and I'm getting awfully tired of giving parking garages all my money. And since I want to start taking the bus to work, I thought it'd be a good dry run since it's been ages since I've taken the bus anywhere. The detail I forgot was to note bus times for my return and it took forever to get the #5 back to Greenwood and I was late for the friends dinner for Jeff's parents. It was at Palermo and happily they could just order and I didn't hold anything up. I love all of Chris and Jeff's friends, so it's always a treat to see them. And I'll get to see them again soon at the housewarming party next weekend, too. I've got to have those guys over for dinner. They're awesome.
Tonight I'm going to hang with Sarah for a movie night at her place, but first I am going to clean this place.
On the list:
-Tidy dining room
-Tidy living room
-Put away dishes and load dishwasher
-Clean counter tops
-Clean out fridge/freezer
-Clean out cupboards to avoid 800 cans of green beans and no tomato sauce
-Prepare all the groceries I just bought for easy weeknight cooking
-Cook 0pt soup
- File all paperwork, pay bills, and clean desktop
-Laundry
-Tidy bedroom
- Clean master bathroom which is vile
- Must vacuum
