If I needed any convincing that I am sick, the drive to the office this morning did it.

I woke up congested, sore-throated, and more body aches than yesterday. Wah :(

But I was going a little stir-crazy by the end of yesterday, so I e-mailed my boss, and called our receptionist/office manager lady (Steph--who is a godsend on every day), and said that while I didn't want to come in and contaminate everyone, I would swing by and pickup my laptop so I could do some work from home.

Steph insisted on going to my office and collecting anything that I needed so I wouldn't have to run back to my office, but could just pull up front and grab my stuff. And then, because she knew there was no way I was actually going to pull up and HONK for her to come out--as she'd suggested--she was watching for me, and ran out with my stuff anyway. I love her.

The drive to the office and back quite frankly sucked. I thought I was going to throw up. I'm still a bit shocked at how crappy I felt just sitting in my car in traffic. So, probably not the smartest move. But now I can check my work e-mail and follow-up with anything I need to before the weekend and that makes me feel better.

I'm not sure what is wrong with me. Mrh. My head hurts, my right eye is twitching. My shoulders, back, and neck are aching like a motherfucker. My stomach is a bit queasy. I am a little congested, sneezy, and my throat itches.

RAAAAAWWWWR. I've been taking it much easier lately, so I don't know why the fuck I have to be sick. I feel like a big cootie. *sulk*
