I need some product recommendations, guys!

As winter encroaches, my skin is becoming very dry. There are too many products out there and it's driving me crazy. I keep a jar of Restoration Hardware's No Crack (or something) creme at my office, and try to apply it daily, but I also need something for home, and preferably something more spreadable, but super moisturizing.

I like:

- pump-style bottles but don't mind squeeze-y bottles
- more lotion, less cream in terms of heaviness
- something that feels light, but isn't (in that it's very moisturizing)
- long-lasting

I don't like:

- greasy feeling (duh)
- overly sparkle-y
- overly heavy feeling of lotion on skin
- food-related scents (exception is that the Restoration Hardware creme is some orange-scented thing)
- any heavy or perfume-y scents

Also, I am cheap. I'd like something that comes in a medium-sized bottle that doesn't cost a lot. I like the Olay Body Quench lotion okay, but the sparkles annoy me sometimes and it doesn't seem to be all that long-lasting. Vaseline Advanced Healing doesn't seem to absorb that well, and has a waxy smell. I haven't cared for Lubriderm when I've used it in the past.

I'm determined to keep on top of skin care this winter!

Recommendations?

(Also, I tend to use Olay spf30 something face cream, but any face cream recommendations also appreciated.)

Did you try the Restoration pump bottle hand creme? It's lighter than the stuff in the jar but works pretty well. See you this weekend

I've been using St. Ives' Aloe & Chamomile lotion and really like it!

I've been using Aveeno products for a while, including moisturizer, and I like it jes fine. And apparently the oatmeal in it is good for your skin, or some such, so.

(Can you tell how into this stuff I am?)

This is what I use. It's a pretty small bottle and it's not cheap, but a little goes a LONG way (I usually use a dime-sized blob when my skin is REALLY dry and normally about half that). My biggest problem is that when I use a really oily moisturizer, my skin breaks out, and when I use no moisturizer, my skin breaks out - or is just so dry that I feel like an alligator.

I used an Aveeno lotion for awhile and liked it. Actually, wait. No, that was Aveda. Nevermind. But I will give the Aveeno a shot, too!

I do love MAC products, but that's just to 'spensive for me. I want a big ol bottle of lotion I can toss around --and I want it to be relatively cheap.

Seems like a cool product, though!
