You know, I'm always like fucking 10 steps behind you. Doesn't matter what it is (music, software, wtf-ever), 2 weeks later I stumble over wide-eyed, obsessed, and totally assimilated.

We loves it, preciousss, yesyes nice Dreamweaver *clutches* It's ourss and now we hatess nasty stupid notepad.

As Eric Meyer says in his introduction, I'm the type of developer who's always irate at change and muttering "stupid, fuzzy-headed, ivory-tower academics!" and stomping around

He cracks me up. And really glad I got this book. Great project layout. I'm doing the R&D site in this.

Yay! I love that book. It rocks.

But you're ahead of me with the Dreamweaver. Me loves nasty stupid NoteTab Pro. I only use Dreamweaver if it's something I absolutely cannot do by hand because I don't know how (ie - javascript for show/hide layer and so on).

I just can't seem to make myself like the wysiwyg thing. And doing CSS in Dreamweaver? Noooo thank you. It's all about NoteTab for that.

Oh christ. I am so not ahead of you. I'm using the code view and just modifying Meyer's sample project pages. It's not like I have a clue how to do anything. YET. I need to revist Flash, too, and actually learn how to do shit this time.

And you did all that div crap stuff, which I remain clueless about. But need to freaking learn already. God this shit moves so fast. I freak out when they change product aisles at the market.

CSS. Oh God. Back to Edit CSS. Man. I wanna make hot monkey love to whoever came up with that.

See.. Dreamweaver + remotely advanced CSS = unhappy marriage, in my experience, so I did the Eric Meyer examples all in NoteTab.

Otherwise they made no sense to me. But yay code view, regardless. The div shit is easy, I could teach you that.
