Um. The turkey is done. It apparently cooked faster than the allotted 20min per pound. Now what the hell do I do? We're supposed to eat at 3!

I can't believe it cooked that fast. It's over EIGHTEEN POUNDS!!!

That has happened to me before, too! Just keep a foil tent over it and then stick it back in the oven about an hour before you want to eat. Let it warm for 30-40 minutes (make sure to baste it at least 2-3 times to keep it moist), cool and cut in the remaining 20 minutes.

You RULE. That's exactly what I did and it worked just fine. It was moist enough, but damn is it hard to time everything when you've just got one oven.

Yeah, it always takes less than 20 minutes per pound. But I suck at timing stuff. I always get anxious and start the vegetables too early.

I always have anxiety that it won't cook fast enough and people will be dying of hunger. But clearly not so!
