Had a lovely few days with Willi. Too short, of course. It never ceases to amaze me how tight the bond of friendship is, and how it can persevere over time and distance. I hadn't seen her in about a year but it felt like not a day had gone by. Ate too much Chinese food, went for a walk around Greenlake (ended up getting completely drenched for our trouble) watched endless Sex and the City episodes and talked about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Was very sad to drop her off this afternoon. Can't wait to visit her in San Francisco this summer.
