Omfg I love the internet. More precisely, I love Google.

Randomly had some dialogue stuck in my head and it was driving me bugfuck. All I knew was, it went something like: 'I know you blahblahblah, because you did them to ME' and some woman is saying it tearfully, and it's a big emotional scene.

Finally, tired of torturing myself with it, got up, entered "because you did them to me" into Google and VOILA! It's from Buffy. Big fat fucking duh. I can't believe I forgot that. I loved that episode and I loved that scene.

The whole thing is something like:

"And I know the things you've done because you did them to me"

*sniffle*

And then it starts to snow. Thus Angel doesn't burst into flames. I think this is from Amends, an episode that I particularly like.

I think that along with the X-files (which I co-own with [livejournal.com profile] brabble), I may need to buy the first three seasons of Buffy. Season 4 and The Initiative can bite my ass. Ditto the rest of the series. But the first three seasons are just amazing. Especially seasons 2 and 3.

I remember when Buffy first came out. How far back into my skull my eye-rolling was. And how I couldn't believe anyone was watching a tv series based on that god awful movie with Kristy Swanson (or wtfever her name was).

Season 4 is lame.

But I don't like Angel; he's too brooding. Spike in love is so much better.

Bah to season 4.

I have a penchant for broody, tormented characters. It's a sick weakness of mine.

I've not largely been a Spike fan, though I think I'm in the minority there.

[insert eye-rolling at self]

Yeah, so I like it now.

That was a good ep.

I bought season 3, if you want to borrow it. Need to get 1 and 2. And.. considering season 4, just because that's what Mom's on now and dammit, Hush is in that season. Just have to completely ignore Riley and the Initiative, as I still don't know what the hell they were thinking with that.

That reminds me - anything you want me to bring this weekend? Tradeoff on the X-Files or anything?

I still can't believe you're a Buffy fan now. Does Murph still give you abuse for it? *grin*

Are you sure you're willing to give up S3 for a bit? (Like, say until SEPTEMBER! *bounce*) I'd love to borrow it!

Yeah, Hush is amazing, but I just want to stab (stake?) the Initiative. It makes S4 mostly unwatchable for me. Dawn made S5 largely unwatchable for me. SquishySpikeSex made S6 completely unwatchable for me. And S7 was just whatever.

I'm ok on the X-files--you should borrow S6 though, cause I fucking worship it. Most of my favorite episodes are on that. Though, can you bring the X-files movie for me? I want to watch and shriek at the almost-kiss-bee-sting thing.

Friday! Friday! Friday! Friday!

Interested in seeing Shrek 2?

Murph gives me shit. Then, when she found I had Once More With Feeling in with my CDs, she made me puton when we were driving to Bay City from Ann Arbor, after which she sheepishly said, "I kinda liked that."

So HAH to her. And she listens exclusively to country music, so really she has no room to talk. She says 'hi' btw, and is purchasing a webcam so that she can harass you via visual.

I'm so glad I watched this show after it was over and had you to spoil the Great Mystery of Dawn for me. 'Cause damn - that would have been the end of Buffy for me. Pillarsex with Spike I managed to just get over and largely ignore. Yay for DVDs and the mute button. Must finish S7.

Will bring X-Files Fight the Future and Buffy S3 with me. Hee. "For God's sake, man, she's eighteen. And you have the emotional maturity of a blueberry scone. Just have at it, would you, and stop fluttering about."

Shrek 2 sounds like a plan.

Yeah, Murph doesn't have much room *grin*

I think I'm going to put on OMWF now. Whoop!

I thought Murph was utterly traumatized by webcams? I remember her grinning sheepishly and ducking! Hi back to her. I'll see her this weekend, ja?

I'm glad you watched the show once it was over, too. Cause you never would have made it through S5.

I. Fucking. LOVE. Giles. He is the perfect man. Purrr.

Shrek 2 is playing at Cinerama where we got tickets for RotK. I'll buy tickets for Saturday afternoon then? I'm guessing you'll be too wiped out Friday night for a late showing? Lemme know if that's a Murph/Joe day or any other conflict.

Murph was traumatized, but I think she got over it. And yeah, she wants to do breakfast/lunch(/BRUNCH) on Sunday or Monday.

Saturday is Joe day, I believe.. maybe Sunday or Monday afternoon instead? Or we can bring Joe?

Ahhhhh, BRUNCH.

No problem bringing Joe. Find out if he'd like to see it on Saturday afternoon and I'll buy 3 tix!

But if you guys would rather do something more interactive than a movie, no problem there either!
