Hobbes has been in a weird place since I've come back. I think maybe my frequent trips away have upset him. He's been frantically attentive today. He keeps walking over to headbutt me and woke me several times in the night for some love.

Shit. And now I'm going to be away for 5 days coming up to visit the family in SF. Shitshitshit. Shit with a capital SH.

Ok. No more travel for me for awhile. I feel guilty for leaving him alone.
