It's so gray and icky out. But I'm kind of loving it. Suits my mood. Which, while not icky and gray, is a bit subdued.

Extra hours at work today to make up for having yesterday off. We launch the new site on Wednesday night and I'm hoping it'll be a relatively smooth transition. We have the best admin ever, so I feel pretty fucking confident going in that all will be okay.

Must set some sort of job-hunting plan/schedule. And try to use this extra time a bit more effectively instead of staring out window for 9 hours a day petting Hobbsie.

Should:

find work (duh)
work on quilts (esp Z's quillow since his bday was back in April and Ellie's bday quilt, shit)
work on Mo's scarf (must finish before parental visit on 24th so they can take back)
work on Y's scarf since his bday is actually coming up
work on stupid slippers for A because his bday was way back in March
re-learn French since Amy sent me that 6-disc set
repair crotch tear in good pants in case of interview
organize file boxes (bleargh)
clean car of all excess debris
organize bookshelves

Why is it the more time I have the less organized I am? All these hours looming ahead are somewhat oppressive and I end up wanting to nap instead of powering ahead and doing all the things I wouldn't have time for if I had a 40hr work week.

Looking very forward to dinner with Judy tonight. Haven't seen her in over a week.
