It takes a certain kind of brain damage to really prefer vi to other editors. The mouse-oriented editors are more intuitive, EMACS is more powerful ("hey, who doesn't need a text editor with a Lisp interpreter built in?")...
Then again, I do have that certain kind of brain damage. Vi rocks! :)
