I spend a lot of time bitching about Bush. About my fears that he'll be elected and what that'll mean for this country. But until I read desdenova's post about people just like me, I didn't really DO anything about it.

But, never let it be said that sense cannot be smacked into me. I donated what I could to ACT today and signed up to volunteer. I urge everyone who cares about this election to do the same.

Please, please, PLEASE. It doesn't take much money or much time. I've always been a card carrying liberal, but I've never felt so knotted up about the outcome of an election before. This is not about partisan loyalty. This is about a desire to rebuild this country and repair the damage Bush has done in the past four years. I'm not head over heels for Kerry, but as the slogan goes: ANYBODY BUT BUSH.
