the days are just packed
Oct. 12th, 2004 04:21 pmThere isn't hyperbole enough to express how much it rules having
brabble here. She lives here now. This is a fact that I'm still mildly hysterical about. I'm still not over the whole 'hanging out every day' thing. Which is also why I'm journaling less.
Too much fun stuff to recap, but we had a blast at the WNBA game last Sunday. The Seattle Storms maintained a 5-10 point lead against the Connecticut Suns for most of the game, except during the final minutes of the second half when their lead slipped to 3pts and we hovered on the edge of panic, bellowing encouragement. They won. Whew.
Tonight is the Final game and we're meeting KC and Jen for more throat-tearing, foot-stomping goodness.
My computer is finally back up and running. Forced upgrades are teh suck. Brh. New motherboard installed, which required new DDR ram. It looks like an inefficient CPU fan caused the problem to begin with, so a new fan's been installed, too. However, the position of the new motherboard in my old case is inconvenient. I'm worried that the proximity to the CPU fan to the back end of the power supply is going to cause a repeat issue. So a new case has been ordered through my amazing friend Richard. It's the "Buy now, pay me later" deal that is coming in very handy with all the recent computer upgrades and car repairs.
Most of the key stuff's installed again and I don't think I forgot to backup anything this time. Here's hoping.
