And I have a lot of stuff to do! But I'm afraid I'll sit around chirping about how excited I am and not actually get anything done! And holy crap it's already nearly 11!
MUST clean flat - finish laundry, do dishes, toss out trash, get rid of Christmas tree (eek) and make bed
MUST go through Framemaker lessons and read articles on gene expression (must research and buy a good textbook that will explain this stuff to me, too)
I'm really excited about tonight! My old company is having a holiday party--and I'm invited! There's a small group of us in Seattle and the CEO (at least I think that's his official title) is flying out and taking us out to dinner. We're going to El Gaucho! A place I certainly couldn't afford on my own. Judy says their food is amazing and it's always fun to go to a darkly-lit someplace where waiters have to wear bowties.
Also, not driving! That means I can drink! PARTY! In fact, we're meeting early for cocktails. *rubs hands together gleefully*
And hee, Sarah hasn't seen my new haircut, glasses or clothes yet. So this is going to be a fun reveal! I'm prepared for her to react in a totally shocked way. Which means she will arch an eyebrow. Muahahhahahahahahahahahaaaaaaa!
Of course if she does read this first, she'll simply kick my ass. But she hasn't had time to read lately. So, again I say: muhahahahahahahaha!
