So this makes two nights in a row I can't sleep. It's not the caffeine, I haven't had any since Tuesday (and since it didn't cure my headache that night, we can conclude that they weren't caffeine headaches, but the onset of a tumor, more than likely). Though it's gone dormant, because no headache today.

I've been watching the second disc from the first season of Upstairs, Downstairs. God, was life really that racy back in 1906?

Sandman. I'm re-reading Dream Country. The one about the cats always disturbs me for awhile after and I can't help but peer suspiciously at Hobbes for some time.

And now I want something hot to drink. But I don't really drink tea. I don't have coffee in the house. Hrm.

Yeah, I don't know about the 'rarely fear failure' thing as that's what generally drives my ass. Not that I'm a profound believer in the zodiac, but scorpios are somehow tied in with phoenixes, too, I think. Also when reading Pigs in Heaven, I decided if I had a "spirit animal", it would be the phoenix. No. None of this actually matters.

Now I think I'll go knit.
