rain, rain go away
Jan. 23rd, 2004 03:12 pmI have decided that "Why hello there, buttsexy" is going to be my new opening greeting. Brace yourself accordingly.
Finally fell into a disturbed sleep around 4am only to be awaken at 5am by Hobbes' pitiful wheezing. He had a second attack at 1pm today, so I figured that yes, it was time to get the next shot and immediately called Dr. Henkle's office to schedule an appointment. Luckily they had an opening at 2:20 so we have just enjoyed a quick visit to the vet, cortisone shot and soon to be no-more-wheezing for at least 3 months.
Also, I think I have the nicest auto mechanic in town. Leo just called to check on how my clutch was doing since the replacement and to see if I wanted to get the clutch cable as discussed. They were worried because the pedal releases a bit high and they're worried it will cause my clutch to wear out quicker and want to put in a new cable. Now, sure, I'd call someone too if it was possibly going to net me a profit, but he's actually not charging labor for it, and the cable itself is like $20. He just thinks the clutch will last longer this way. And, they didn't have a cable available the day they did the replacement and I had to pick up my car that night. Dere Auto in Rainier. Amazingly nice guys. I had actually taken my car to them the first time I lived up here and when I came back a year and a half or so later, the guy still remembered my name and car having met me once. Which is why I drive all the freaking way out there from Ballard every time something goes wrong with my car.
Shit I need to eat something. Breakfast at 3pm is kind of silly.
