God, I love Buffy.

So despite the fact that it is grey outside, I'm having a frisky morning. Hobbes is having a 'dear god why won't you feed me' morning and is sulking on the bed.

I have to start organizing my crap for the LA/SD trip or I'll forget something.

Must take:
Tax crap
SiP for Mo
Mishy's scarf
Life of Pi for bookclub
Nomad
Knitting paraphernalia
The joy that is tampons

Must do:
Get keys made for Judy
Mail Amy's scarf
Finish piecing Ellie's quilt already

Huh. Is that it? That's not so much to remember. I mean, yeah clothes and crap, too. OH, must get Whale Rider back from Judy for Stace. And some music for the long drive to SD. Mmm perhaps will take LotR dvds to watch with Zia. Man, I can't wait to see that munchkin. He's going to get the pouncing of his life. *bounce*

I'm starting to get so excited about this trip. I can't believe I leave this Thursday. It'll be so nice to be in the SUN again and to see everyone. Since I'm not working this break (PRAISE JESUS) I can actually see everyone and not feel rushed and crazed.

Hrm. Provided my plane doesn't crash into a fiery heap. But let's not start hyperventilating about that quite yet.

I can't imagine having a week without work or school. *startled look* And... probably limited computer time. *blink* Huh. It's like a sensory deprivation tank but um, without the tank. Or the sensory deprivation. Never mind. Bad analogy.

Sun!! Sun!! Sun!! *scampers off*

*blink*

Mmm I didn't think I needed a nap, but man, lie down for two seconds and out like a light.

Borrowed The Princess Bride from Judy and decided that since it was Spring Break, I could do whatever I wanted, and what I wanted was to watch that again. I love that movie. But I mean, duh. Is there anyone who doesn't? (Must. Resist. Urge. To. Squeal. Inconceivable!)

Spent a chunk of today IMing with my little cousins. I am so wound up to see them! Of course none of our freaking spring breaks match up. Especially bummed that Zia's break doesn't coincide. Wah! If it did, he would not be allowed out of my sight. Man. He's such a bunny and he doesn't even know it. He's 15 and the most adorable, well adjusted, good natured kid on the planet. And is my partner in crime when I'm in LA. That's ok. Weekend and after school fun will be had. *coo*

It's soooooo cold. I can't figure out if it's really cold or if it's me. Hrm. That's really why I ended up taking that nap. I just wanted to be under the covers. *shiver*

Ooo there is a really good looking naked guy in the building across from mine *peers*

So dinner tomorrow night with Ellie & Co. Definitely looking forward to hanging with Ellie and Jeff and Judy and John. Ellie's evil friends--the witches of eastwick--not so much. After years of hearing stories about them, Judy insisted I come to Ellie's Vegas bachelorette party to hold her hand. She said it was my duty as her best friend. They were as bad as described; exactly like the bitchy girl clique you hated in junior high. The worst part about them is how they treat Ellie. They're remarkably inconsiderate and drive all of us who love Ellie up the proverbial wall. On the positive side, they're terrified of Judy and myself and behave at least 40x better than if Ellen's with them alone.

Bored now. Mrh. Tomorrow will be a frenzy of preparation but not sure wtf to do tonight.
