Feeling a bit blah today.

Apprehensive about checking on car after work. If it doesn't start... ahhh, ok. Must not think it won't start. In fact, must not think. Thinking bad.

However, looking very forward to [livejournal.com profile] brabble's visit. Friday can't possibly get here fast enough. If I have two neurons to rub together, I will finish my damn projects before she gets here, otherwise I will be one sad kitty.

Having dinner with [livejournal.com profile] drexeldeb tonight and looking forward to catching up with her. I've missed bookclub the last two times and it feels like it's been 100 years. Determined to go to next one. Which means I should pick up a copy of the damn book (Jennifer Government) already.

Plan for the day is to:

Check out car, make sure it's functional.
Call Debbie to confirm for dinner.
Shower.
Work on project until 4:30.
Dinner @ 5. Brad's Swingside Cafe. Yay!
Come home and continue working on project.
Sleep.

This project really isn't that bad. It's just tedious and tough to get into. Oh well. This will all be over. Very, very soon.

Blah.

Oh fuckity. Just remembered that Brad's isn't open Mondays. *annoyed* Maybe Pasta Bella, then. Or will reschedule for Wednesday. Hrm.

The battery's dead... So rescheduled dinner for Wednesday.
Must find someone to jump start car and must call Dere Auto and throw myself at their mercy before class tomorrow night.

Arrrrrrrrrgh. Nothing like some impotent fury to kick off your week.

Ahhh.

[livejournal.com profile] devinluvsrussia is a lifesaver. Not only is she coming over to jumpstart my car, but will follow me out to Dere Auto and bring me back home.

Now I just need to pray no one smashes my window in overnight.

I hate car problems. But I love Devin.

Thank you, Devin!!

Seriously don't want to do the stupid user guide. But I have to. Wah!

Must. Start. NOW.

Which is why I'm dithering on LJ, naturally.

Ok. Will do the reporting section tonight. Vendor crap tomorrow and product list on Wednesday.

Baby steps. If I take baby steps I can make it through the next two weeks, right?

Ellie was an angel and edited my craptastic resume and made it look decent. I have to do some work on it (after school is fucking over with) and send it back to her for a final bit of polish before commencing with the job search. Would rather have rectal surgery than look for work, but that wasn't offered as an option.

Doing the volunteer tech editing has been interesting. Just submitted my third piece and felt much more confident about it. Have gotten good feedback on it. I find it much easier to edit other work than revise my own. This was a bit of a surprising discovery as I always thought I'd prefer writing/revising to editing. Huh.
