I'm not sure why I find these super-long memes so delightful, but I do. Waiting for Corporate IS to call me back because something is seriously hosed on their end which has now crashed one of our intranets. Sigh. Also, work continues to be unpleasantly busy. As I've said before, I wouldn't just mind hard work. It's work that is completely out of my hands that drives me insane. How can I predict when I'll finish a project when I'm waiting for someone else to fix something broken on their end? Rage. Stew. Seethe.

And, before finishing, I was called away by a phone call from Jeanne (yay!) and Emily's arrival (who had to escape campus life which has also resulted in: yay!). And then I got a call from Singapore. That's where after hours tech support lives. And it was this wonderful guy (unlike the last asshole) who patiently helped me fix that which is broken. Though I still need to contact another nice guy about access to another area.

But still. Praise the lord, it's all worky now! Although the really big scary project isn't done, but I think I've beaten the other wolves back enough to work on that exclusively tomorrow.

AND I have three new discs of Desperate Housewives and Emily is here and there is guacamole. Whoop!
