I'd just woken up to cancel French this morning because I'm really oddly wiped out. I was heading back to bed, when my brother called. Zach was born at 10:30PM last night--and is in good shape, but unfortunately there were some complications and Emily has just gotten out of her second surgery. Thank GOD, she's doing better now. She's in the ICU, but they hope to move her out by tonight. Apparently it was a pretty rough night, and my brother sounded exhausted, but relieved that both mom and baby were doing better.
He thinks I can come visit both later on today. I just can't wait!
Wow. He's finally here! I wish I could send out a marzipan cigar to everyone in the world!
I think I need to go buy him a Birth Day present today. And something for Em, too.
