So ran some errands late this evening, and got back, changed in pjs and curled up on couch. Chatting with Sarah about packing warm clothes for out here, discussing that it is pretty cold, when she tells me that it's snowing in Seattle. I (to the great amusement of my cousin Zia) don't look out the window, because it's too far to reach, but check with weather.com. It tells me it's snowing. In shock, I get up and wander to the window, pull back the blinds and look outside at my white blanketed street. Cars. Sidewalks. Trees. Everything covered in snow. I start running from window to window, because um apparently I thought if I looked out the right window, it wouldn't be snowing. In a smooth move I managed to rip loose the wand from the blind and whack my right knee on the sharp edge of my birch Ikea Lack coffee table.
Excuse my Californian shock, but HOLY SHIT. Snow. *sputter* Falling. From. The SKY.
Definitely not something I'm used to and I'm sheepishly terrified to drive in it tomorrow morning. I wouldn't even have known it was snowing if it weren't for my discussion with Sarah about bringing warm things like polar fleece pants.
But omg. It's SNOWING. And it's... it's beautiful. *stares*
Excuse me while I go press my nose against my window for an hour. I know I'm being a complete spaz about this, but omg SNOW!
