I can't believe how much I like it....when I wasn't that excited about getting it in the 1st place (it was M's toy). We've even thought about getting a 2nd one for upstairs...but that *could* be considered greedy.
I think we would...we have the lifetime so it'd only be a one time fee...but still...more money than we're willing to spend right now.
The dishwasher is broken :( Martin doesn't want to replace it until we redo the kitchen. I'm being VERY pouty about it. He's willing to see if we can have it repaired. So he's not ALL evil ;)
We got TiVo and I found myself yearning for an upstairs one, too ... then, as luck would have it, a couple of months later I got a free-upgrade-to-a-DVR-unit from Dish. Which I now have to hook it up upstairs to the phone line and get a separate Dish subscription for content (just $7, though) ... and it'll have a different remote ... but hell, I LOVE TIVO.
Good to know there are more people out there that want two units! I just think it would be good to have in front of the exercise machine...I'd be able to watch shows I actually enjoy instead of whatever's on (of course, I'm also mildly obsessing over an iPod as well...can't justift BOTH for the same thing!)
I had never even thought of it (kinda like the Tivo) but have been hearing more about them...and my tape player that I used to work out with is broken...and I like having a variety of music when I workout....I think it would be good...if only it were free!
I bought it for James for Christmas and it's been the best gift ever. Seriously. We're also considering buying a second one... because Tivo truly is loooooove.
