I did get to hear Dawn Taylor on the radio this morning. What can I say?
*insert fangirl squeeing*
Dawn, you rule!
By the way: I completely agree about the Incredibles and Eternal Sunshine and um yeah! You rule!
I tried to call in for the film tickets thingie, but damn it, was too slow. Had brief but giddy fantasy that it would be one of those on-the-air acceptance things and that I would sound like a complete ass.
"Um, hi. Um. Hee! I WON? Woo!! Um um! This is Cat. Um. HI DAWNOMGI'MSUCHAHUGEFAN! Thanks for the tickets!!! OMGOMGOMG WOW!"
But sadly, it was not to be so. I'll have to save my public humiliation for some other time. Perhaps lunch.

Date: 2005-02-23 08:38 pm (UTC)Sadly, some engineer guy in another room answered the phones. but I got to live my dream of ANNOUNCING THAT WE WERE GIVING AWAY TICKETS on a ACTUAL RADIO SHOW ...it's so lame that I was excited by that, b ut when the guy brought in the sheet before we went on the air, I was like "Can I read that? Can I? I soooooo want to do that part!"
I am such a geek. I'm so glad you listened!
