I would like to say that, officially, I now prefer Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi to plain. It is spectacular. Drinking plain Diet Pepsi has lost its luster.

Work continues to be busy (but not so busy that I can't take a 5-minute reprieve!). Making good progress on my projects. Working on rewriting a scientific abstract for a non-native speaker. It's kind of... fun. But then I am a big nerd.

Having dinner tonight with Jeff and Sarah at Teapot in CapHill. Jeff is hauling me, kicking and screaming, into the land of Tofu. He's lucky he's so cute. The boy can charm me into anything. It's absurd what I'll do for dimples. I actually bought some Boca burgers last night. What is the world coming to? (I have historically been on the voracious side of carnivorage).

Also, in other riveting, edge-of-your-seat news, I made and consumed a sandwich. I love sandwiches. But I never think I'm going to want one, or think of making one. Then (like this morning) I made one, and immediately wanted to eat it. I hastily wrapped it and tucked it into my bag because otherwise I would have had my lunch at 7:45am. And then I had it for lunch, and Ye Glory Was Mine. It was a simple ham sandwich with greenleaf lettuce on wheat bread. And yet, it was somehow orgasmic.

Also? I'm very cute. Actually, adorable. I've decided. I have no idea how anyone resists me. See, this is where I get my nickname--I'm an egomaniac underneath all the quivering neuroses. *preens and gives self a tongue-bath* If I had a mirror in my office, I would blow myself a kiss.

I am suddenly very, very hyper. *runs around*

You know, I'm thinking that the Pepsi has a lot to do with the last two paragraphs...

Oh, and I think you're cute, too! :-D At least, as cute as one can tell over LJ--so perhaps I think your writing is cute. I know I enjoy it!!

BTW, Fu ain't half bad if it's done up nicely. Meaning very very very firm, and marinated in something tasty. Or in a really good sauce--because there ain't much to it on its own. There's a restaruant near me that does a "Vegetarian Rama Thai", which used little wheat gluten patties and tofu, over spinach, with a generous helping of peanut sauce over all of it. Very very good--I prefer it to the beef version, because the meat has a flavor that detracts from the peanut-saucy goodness.

I think you're very right! I have no need for cocaine, not with an endless supply of Diet Pepsi. Purrrr. God, it winds me up.

And thanks! You're cute, too! And I mean that! And not just because I think everything is cute right now!

Tofu is fine. I make more of a fuss to torment Jeff, Veggie Slayer, than anything else.

Peanut sauce on cardboard would be exciting, btw. The stuff is like crack.

Dude, you're totally cute! I say so, and I'm always right.

Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi is great stuff. Unfortunately, they don't sell it around here, at least not anywhere I shop. :(

Ahhh, that just made me beam. See? *beeeeaaaaaaaam*

And besides, I agree. You are always right. Lucifer kicked ass--can't wait to buy #2.

Re: Diet Pepsi

What a tragedy. I just discovered it at my local store and am terrified they'll run out. Because it's so absurdly good. And lacking the revolting chemical-cleaning-fluid taste of the lemon/lime versions.
