Yesterday was mellow. Went over to Jeff's house to watch movies and vege with Sarah (who is housesitting while Jeff is off on vacation, damn him). We had a delightful, point-tastic breakfast at Coastal Kitchen. I always forget how spectacular their breakfasts are. I think it's actually my favorite of the Chow Foods line. Anyhow. Ate way too much. Then walked back to Jeff's and watched Open Water. Which was a bit strange and not what I expected, even though I knew it was a low-budget, DV-flick. Huh. Then we watched Stargate, which was cute and campy, though I feel asleep at the end. I was damn lethargic yesterday.

I left Sarah and came back home. And did..nothing. Didn't get any work done or cleaning done. Just sat in front of the tv. I had an upset stomach because cheese and eggs upset my stomach, so I don't eat them often, but love them regardless. Even though it had been hours and hours since I'd eaten, my stomach was upset all night. Bleh. That was not fun. Pepto-Bismol to the rescue. So I went to bed at 11, bored and moody. Not fun.

Got up this morning and idled for a bit before deciding that I could at least clean. So the dishes are mostly done. Have started to pick up the place a bit, start laundry.

Have plans to grocery shop today and plan out my week. So I decided to eat before I went out because that way I wouldn't be inclined to buy 17 of everything that I wanted to presently eat. In spite of yesterday's gastrointestinal irritation, I made an eggbeater scramble (since it's mostly the yolks that upset my stomach) and had some Morningstar Sausage patties. Wow, I couldn't tell they weren't meat. I have to try more of their stuff. One pt a patty can't be beat.

Jeanne is on her way over and I am going to check out Costco with her. I hadn't really thought of going to Costco as a single person. But I know a few other single people who buy their stuff there and am intrigued. I haven't gone in years. So this should be fun.

Will shop, come home, clean more. I'm meeting Ellie for drinks at Matador's happy hour. Her Jeff is out of town, too, so it'll be nice to just chill out together. I need to cook something for dinners this week (that chili last week worked out so nicely, I may have to do that again).

I'm tired. The weather, while rain is overdue and welcome, is making me glum. And part of me is just moving through this weekend slowly, waiting for another work week to start. How sad is that?

Ack, Jeanne's here. Must go.

I think you will find this amusing....
