verbicideLast night was glorious. GLORIOUS, I SAY!
I shrugged off every single responsibility and just went straight home to do what I wanted to do. And what I wanted to do was eat takeout, watch everything I'd saved up on TiVo, and go to bed at 10:30pm. I slept for nine and a half hours. It was beautiful. BEAUTIFUL *shout*
Hobbes and I snogged on the couch and watched Gilmore Girls (god, I love that show) and we watched Eyes (Tim Daly! So snarky! So cuuute!), we attempted to watch Lost: The Journey, but then we lost our temper. Hiss. I shall rant on this later. We then watched Survivor, I really love this season. First fun season since fucking Australia.
Then we watched a clip on Russell Peters who is this Indian comedian (props to Sarah for sharing this with me) and omfg he's hilarious! HILARIOUS! I was nearly in tears, and then Stace called. We caught up on all kinds of things (including my fabulous lunch with Judy and Monica yesterday) and then I went to sleep at 10:30. God, it was better than sex. I woke up rested at 6AM. Beamed at Hobbes who wanted food (because if he's awake, he's hungry) and rolled over and slept for another two glorious hours.
Then I bounced out of bed, checked email, fed the beast, got dressed and made it to work early since I had a meeting with the big-boss and I wanted to review some notes beforehand. And the meeting went really well. God I love working here. LOVE IT!!
And it's Friday! Which means, I go home and get to hang out with Sarah! And we're going to eat, drink and watch When Harry Met Sally. And then I'm going to sleep in tomorrow *beam* I can't wait!!
