Despite the fact that I've woken up a bit cranky and don't want to work and it's raining, I have to admit that the extra bit of sleep last night has done me good. Imagine that. Get an adequate amount of sleep and you don't feel like hammered shit. Who'd a thought!
CS is so freaking nice. Anytime I throw a hissy fit about project disorganization, as I did yesterday, she immediately works with me to sort it out and then is so accomodating and nice and friendly that I want to slap myself for being such a drama queen. It is impossible, I fear, to stay angry with CS.
Sarah starts her new job today. I'm ecstatic for her, covetous of her upcoming experience. Ah to work in an office again, with people. Less envious of the 6am wake up call. *shudder*
Class last night was disappointing. Someone had told me the instructor was going to be the woman we'd had as a sub last quarter. It wasn't. The instructor, JF, was a perfectly nice person, but she's going to have to prove her teaching mettle. I miss Jan's Boot Camp already. Wah! JF wasn't horrible or anything, but she was a bit disorganized and just less... something. I was bored senseless. And for a night class, you really don't want to feel the 3 hours. Grr. Also what I loved so much about Jan's class was that she put us through rigorous assignments, which is why I feel I did so well in the class, and know my writing has improved (LJ babbling aside).
NotTom continues to annoy, but was relatively toned down. I was sitting next to M who apparently finds him irritating, too. She sort of snarled after he came up to talk to her and left. I was a bit startled, I thought I was the only one who wanted to smack him.
Finally rented Blackadder II. I never thought Rowan Atkinson could be so funny. I loathe the whole Mr Bean stuff and really couldn't see him doing anything useful. I'd really only rented this out of my love for Stephen Fry, so this was a bonus. Hilarious stuff. Miranda Richardson is hysterical as Elizabeth, too.
Oooh. New SiP today, too! Second in the David arc.
