Man. It was such a freaking pain in the ass. I could login but the minute I tried to do anything (including just click the link from the login page to view my own entries) it would give me a cookies error and log me out.
I didn't automatically assume it was a LJ problem, because it worked that morning before I left for class. Then for the first time, I used a school computer to post. I didn't login properly, but just responded to some comments and had my l/p there.
I also had this other random problem. I was checking my email from that same computer, and it refused to log me out. And I didn't particularly fancy leaving my personal email logged into a public computer, so I had to clear the disk cache before it finally freaking logged me out.
So when I came home and LJ wasn't working right, and only for my verbicide account (I have an account for my cat, 'hobbsie', as well and that worked fine. So I figured it was a related issue to what happened with my email account on that school computer.
Apparently the LJ 'cluster' my verbicide account is on was having a problem, and the hobbsie account was on a different, nonfuckedup cluster.
