If nothing else is a measure of my mental incapacity in the morning, I submit I didn't realize my fly was unzipped until I got home and had to pee. In my haste this morning, I apparently figured one button'd keep them up all day, and I was right. Thank god for long teeshirts and layered-on polar fleece pull-overs.
The bus thing is going to work fine. The bus was on time, it was nice to zone out for the commute and I started reading next month's book club book, Life Is So Good.
Class went by fast. I wish I had spent last year taking courses on intriguing software rather than ochem. I always figure I can learn software on my own, but it's really nice to have someone just walk you through it, show you what it can do. Though RoboHTML Help is pretty intuitive. Really, the excitement starts with the Adobe stuff in a few weeks.
After class, decided to walk down to Pike Market and visit the Golden Age of Comicbooks store for the latest SiP. MUCH excitement, which as always, lasts about 15 minutes. Then it's another miserable 6 week wait. Grr.
Bought a chicken gyro from a Greek stand. I don't understand wtf it is about lamb. Sometimes it's amazing (like at the CIA dinner last summer). Sometimes it's revolting and game-y. The stand lady was nice enough to let me try a sample of the lamb (I didn't like it) and thus ordered chicken.
Tonight's plans include dinner at KC and Jen's and stuffing rigatoni. I'm very curious about this, because I've only seen larger noodles (cannelloni, manicotti and the larger shell pastas) stuffed. But this is apparently Jen's old family recipe and the sauce takes 6 hours alone. So we go, we stuff our rigatoni and then we stuff ourselves. And we're going to play Cranium, which I've never played. I've gotta be able to do better at it than poker.
