I should in fairness add that all three were part of a pool party, and extreme roughhousing of which I was not the instigator.
(OK, one of the episodes of wrestling came after I pantsed someone. But it was instigated by someone else, and I ran away before being forced into wrestling. Considering the other guy has 50 pounds on me, is a weightlifter and studies martial arts, I did pretty well)
(This party rapidly got out of hand .... at least in the "people being thrown into pools" category. Yes, I myself was one of the throwers .... and the thrown.)
Good for you! That's really something to be proud of. I know how worried you were, but you survived - and it's one of those things that's great to *have done* (even if not so much fun while you're doing it). :)
I was really worried. But the day of, there was this weird calmness. My friends called it "The Resignation" stage.
They didn't have to drag me into any event. I charged into that revolting lake and swam without stopping. And that feels very good (now that I've showered).
And you've worded it perfectly, it's great to have done it, but man was it exhausting!
