Thank you guys so much for the congrats and really, thanks for reading me bitch, moan, whine and freak out about this for the past many months.

I crawled home after the race, finished a few details on the food-to-share, hopped in the shower, ran to QFC for celery and then, FINALLY, went to Ellie's to eat for the first time in the day. I was freaking ravenous. Some people actually stop and have full meals in between the events. Which is cool, but I think I would barf.

The BBQ was a smash. It was the first time I'd made my favorite potato salad recipe for these guys and it was a hit. The two ice cream pies were devoured in minutes, so yay. I gave Judy, Ellie, Jeanne, and Kim the bracelets I picked out for them. It was my final bit of closure for this whole thing.

Judy, John and I left at 6 to see The Wedding Crashers, which was as funny as reported. I love Vince Vaughn. The man is a nutcase. Midway through the movie the fatigue really kicked in. My calves were fucking killing me. Ouchie. Couldn't wait to get home after the movie. And now I am ready to watch tv and never move again.

My plans for tomorrow:

Sleeping in
Getting a pedicure and a foot massage somewhere
Watching tv
(Maybe doing laundry/dishes)

GOD, I'm so glad I took tomorrow off. I can't imagine waking up and hauling my ass into work on time after this weekend's frenzy.
