Working hard to get over my bizarre and unprecedented aversion to drinking anything. Water, juice, even dp. I have lugged the Dasani up from the car and will endeavor to drink all 24oz before me.

Didn't end up going to swim. Ellie was hung over and I'd had 15 minutes of sleep. Neither of us were keen on drowning. We once again decided against Jitters, preferring our favorite 5 Spot. We discussed needing to get our asses to the theater to catch up on movies pre-Oscars. Colin Firth and George Clooney were swooned over.

Hobbes is unusually pissy this morning and will soon be Hobbes The Amazing Flying Kitty if he doesn't stop walking up to my face and yowling into it.

I have nine million things to do and am trying to dredge up some motivation. Oh let's make a list. That's always a great way to feel productive without actually doing anything:

~~Put away the groceries just bought at Trader Joes.~~ Try not to be too bitter about how freaking expensive red, yellow and orange bell peppers are. Throw onions into freezer so that when chopping them half an hour later, will not flood eyes and incapacitate self for 20 minutes.
~~Change sheets on bed.~~ Do not snap sheets, as will fling 50lbs of cat hair in face.
~~Finish off laundry.~~ Rejoice that machine is in flat and do not need to lug it avec quarters to elsewhere.
~~Clean bathroom. Bleh.~~ REJOICE!
~~Clean up clutter that has accumulated and reproduced all over flat when back was turned.~~
~~Do soup prep and dump things in slow cooker.~~ This is so that when hungry again at 7pm, I will have food available and will not have to stand hungrily in front of fridge for 45 minutes trying to decide what to eat.
~~Toss trash.~~

I'm not vacuuming, and you can't make me.

If (and only if) I accomplish all this, I will permit myself to sit and watch the Golden Globes tonight and do girly things. Like give myself a pedicure or put on a hilarious herbal face mask or something.

*sigh* This is going to call for some really, really perky music.
